Who we are

Gateway Institute for Brain Research, LLC ("Gateway", "we", "us") is a clinical research center located at 3321 College Avenue, Suite 220, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33314. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website.

Information we collect

When you submit the Stay Connected form, we collect the information you provide, which may include: name, email, telephone, date of birth, sex, race, ethnicity, address, relationship to a patient, and self-reported diagnosis. Submission is voluntary; you decide which optional fields to fill in.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 through this website.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to:

• Contact you about clinical trials, research updates, or events that may be relevant to you;
• Determine general eligibility for our research programs;
• Respond to inquiries you send us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Where it's stored

Form responses are stored in Google Workspace (Google Forms / Google Sheets) under accounts controlled by Gateway. Google's processing of this data is governed by Google's own privacy practices.

Cookies and third-party services

This website does not set first-party tracking cookies. Two third-party services may set cookies in your browser:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) — used to load the typefaces you see.
• Google Forms (docs.google.com) — used only on the Stay Connected page to receive your form submission.

Your theme preference (light/dark) is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to us.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete information you have submitted by emailing info@gifbr.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, typically within 30 days.

You can block third-party cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect form submission and font rendering on this site.

Clinical research participation

This website is informational and is not itself a study enrollment platform. If you join one of our clinical trials, you will receive a separate informed-consent document governed by the trial's IRB-approved protocol and applicable U.S. health-privacy law (including HIPAA where it applies). The current site privacy policy does not replace that document.

Updates to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change or as required by law. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
